Three centuries of history, rebuilt around a hot tub and a woodburner.
Lower Tower Hill Farm began as a 1684 farmhouse in Up Holland, West Lancashire — and spent two years being carefully brought back to life. The exposed brickwork and original beams stayed; almost everything else was rebuilt around them.
Air-source heat pumps and rainwater harvesting sit quietly behind underfloor heating and bi-fold doors onto the garden, so the house runs on eco-conscious systems while still feeling every bit its age. The result is a working farmhouse for long weekends: somewhere to light the stove, fill the hot tub, and let four bedrooms' worth of family or friends spread out.
